Had this issue on a Intel mac.
Apparently the Silverlight installer doesn’t properly recognize the machine’s processor.
IF you’re sure your system is INTEL based, than it’s quite easy to bypass this minor inconvenience.
Download the latest Silverlight plugin .
Once downloaded go to the download folder > right click (option click) on the Silverlight install package and hit “Show Package Contentes”.

Navigate to Contents>Resources and delete the InstallationCheck file.

This will allow the installer to skip that step and install your plugin.
Now close the Contents window and proceed with the install in a normal manner.
And for those lazy ones out there, here is the already “patched” version.
Enjoy.

If you’re wondering what’s that track playing at Club Am section is “Who’s Afraid Of Detroit – Claude Von Stroke” remixed by StantonWarriors , with a little editing from our side.

We used PV3D for the 3D flash part and here are some rough renders of the buildings for each section:

“The Ancient Egyptian civilization is usually credited with establishing the division of the night into 12 parts, although there were many variations over the centuries. Astronomers in the Middle Kingdom (9th and 10th Dynasties) observed a set of 36 decan stars throughout the year. These star tables have been found on the lids of coffins of the period. The heliacal rising of the next decan star marked the start of a new civil week, which was then 10 days. The period from sunset to sunrise was marked by 18 decan stars. Three of these were assigned to each of the two twilight periods, so the period of total darkness was marked by the remaining 12 decan stars, resulting in the 12 divisions of the night. The time between the appearance of each of these decan stars over the horizon during the night would have been about 40 modern minutes. During the New Kingdom, the system was simplified, using a set of 24 stars, 12 of which marked the passage of the night.” (wikipedia)

If this makes perfect sense to you, don’t bother downloading our clock. However, if you want a simpler approach to the division of time (the day in this case) feel free to try our ProgressClock™. This clock simplifies time by showing the elapsed percent of the day. Unfortunately, a quick Google search revealed that this has been done before, but we took it a step further by making it a Google Gadget which you can add to your iGoogle page. If you guys like this, we might also make a Vista widget, Java applet, etc.

It took me a while to realize that to know the exact height of the html formatted text that contains images you need to specify the width and height of the image in the tag. Otherwise the real height of your text would be accessible only after all the images contained in that textField are loaded. The image below illustrates an example for this case: (the darker gray column’s height is set by the text height, first one without size specified in the img tag, second one with)

The good thing is that this update fixed some bug my mobo (Intel BadAxe2) manifested on waking up from sleep mode.

(it acted as the 7 keywas pressed continuously).

The bad side is that once installed graphics QE is not supported anymore, but do NOT worry because the good guys from insanelymac forum provided all the help to fix this in no time.

If you are experiencing the same graphics problem you probably are usingnVInject and this is how you can fix it:

there are 2 possibilities:

1.You can open the plist found in nVInject kext extension and edit a value.

The steps very nicelyexplained by krazubu on his post :

- Open the info.plistof the injecter (/system/library/extensions/xxxx.kext/contents/info.plist)

- Find the line with: IOProbeScoreXXXX

- Replace that number with 0 (zero)

- Save to desktop, move the file back over the original one, overwrite (you’ll need toauthenticate)

- Launch the terminal and type those 3 lines to repair permissions :

         sudo chown -R root:wheel /system/library/extensions

         sudo chmod -R 755 /system/library/extensions

         sudo rm /system/library/extensions.mkex

I just used kextHelper insted of doing these commands lines

2.You can use Diabolik’s NVKush instead of NVInjext but be sure to remove or delete the nVinject kext before installing this package.

Both methods had the same result, QE/CI enabled. I still have some problems with the info displayed in about this mac section, but that is nothing to worry about, for now.
