Silverlight cannot install on a PowerPC

Had this issue on a Intel mac.
Apparently the Silverlight installer doesn’t properly recognize the machine’s processor.
IF you’re sure your system is INTEL based, than it’s quite easy to bypass this minor inconvenience.
Download the latest Silverlight plugin .
Once downloaded go to the download folder > right click (option click) on the Silverlight install package and hit “Show Package Contentes”.

Navigate to Contents>Resources and delete the InstallationCheck file.

This will allow the installer to skip that step and install your plugin.
Now close the Contents window and proceed with the install in a normal manner.
